Negotiations Update July 23, 2021
The UWOSA Negotiations Team continues to put forth our best efforts to reach a fair and equitable Collective Agreement for all UWOSA Members.
As of Friday July 23, 2021, the UWOSA Negotiations Team has met with Western Administration for six days of negotiations.
During the week of July 26, 2021, the Ministry of Labor’s appointed Conciliator will be attending three of the four scheduled negotiation dates with Western Administration. Please read the bulletin sent on July 5, 2021 for more information on the Conciliation process.
As we continue to negotiate, we encourage you to stay informed and be prepared. We have attached some information on Article 5 – Strike or Lock Out.
We hear you, we are listening, and we are advocating on our collective behalf. Please continue to email us with your feedback, suggestions, and ideas. Thank you for your encouragement as we fight to keep our current rights and push to strengthen our language despite Bill 124.
In Solidarity,
Nikki Grozelle, Tiffany Trudgeon, Meg Perinpanayagam, Evan Wiley, Rob Harbottle, and Arzie Chant (on leave)
