Chief Steward Vacancy
Thank you to those who have contacted the UWOSA office for information about the Chief Steward vacancy and submitted their nomination! Nominations will be accepted via email to info@uwosa.ca until 4:00 pm on June 28, 2024, for consideration by the Steward’s Council. Please include a brief biography and a statement of interest outlining your qualifications (maximum 200 words). For a description of the duties performed by the Chief Steward, please see Article 7.5 of the UWOSA Constitution.
UWOSA Floating Holidays
Please remember that as per Article 21 “Paid Holidays” of the UWOSA Collective Agreement, each member “is entitled to two floating holidays to be taken, subject to the work requirements of the unit” by June 30 of each year.
