REMINDER – General Meeting December 11, 2018
Do you wonder where your union dues go? Would you like to meet your union executive and stewards? Would you like to learn more about how your union protects your interests and about the work they do every day on your behalf? Then come to the UWOSA General Meetingon Tuesday, December 11 from 12 – 2 pm in Middlesex College room 110! There will be reports from the Executive Officers and committees and opportunities for you to ask questions. As per article 7.07 of the collective agreement, you are entitled to time away (including your lunch break) to attend this meeting:

All employees will be entitled to two (2) hours without loss of pay or reduction in benefits, up to twice per calendar year, to attend UWOSA’s general membership meetings. These two
(2) hours include the employee’s regularly scheduled meal period. For employees who work off the main Western campus as defined by this Agreement, this period shall be extended to allow for reasonable travel time not to exceed one (1) hour in total.
UWOSA is collecting donations of non-perishable items and cash for the London Food Bank. You can bring food or donations with you to the General Meeting or you can drop- off food donations to the UWOSA office (UCC, Room 255) by December 13, 2018
