We are looking forward to getting together with our members during our Annual Winter Luncheon! There will be two seatings, 12:00 – 1:00 pm OR 1:00 – 2:00 pm.
TICKET PICKUP INFORMATION
We have limited seating based on venue occupancy. Tickets are on a first come first serve basis.
Tickets may be picked up from the UWOSA Office (UCC room 255) between 12:00 – 2:00 pm on:
Wednesday, January 31
Friday, February 2
Thursday, February 8
Friday, February 9 (*Last pick-up date)
If you are unable to pick up your ticket, please email your Area Steward for assistance. If your Area does not have a Steward, please email the UWOSA Office (info@uwosa.ca). Please put “UWOSA Luncheon” in the email subject line.
PLEASE READ – IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE LUNCH:
- Take-away lunches can no longer be accommodated.
- When you arrive at the Great Hall on February 21, 2024, for your designated seating time, please have your lunch ticket and Western ONE card to confirm you are a UWOSA member.
- The lunch ticket is per person and will have your entrée and dessert ticket attached. You will need to detach your entrée and dessert tickets and place each in their respective designated ticket basket when collecting your entrée and dessert.
- Should your plans change, and you are no longer able to attend the lunch, please note your ticket is NON-TRANSFERABLE. We ask that you return the ticket to your Area Steward or to the UWOSA Office in UCC 255 in an envelope with your name on it.
2024 Winter Luncheon Menu:
Salad: Focaccia Wedges, Market Greens, Seasonal Vegetables, house dressing
Main Entrée: Gochujang crispy chicken with kimchi fried rice
Vegetarian Option: Butternut squash ravioli, brown butter, sage, roasted Brussel sprouts, parmesan
**If you have any dietary requirements, please email the Great Hall at (great.hall.catering@uwo.ca) with the email subject line “UWOSA Luncheon” by 4:00 pm on Friday, February 9, 2024, to inform them of your dietary requirements.
2024 Winter Luncheon Charity
We will be collecting donations for the London Food Bank. if you would like to bring a non-perishable item or cash contribution, there will be a drop-off area at the luncheon.

- Q: I took a ticket for lunch, but now I cannot go. What do I do with my ticket?
A: Please return your ticket to your Area Steward, or to the UWOSA office, Room 255 UCC.
- Q: I work off main campus. How can I pick up my ticket?
A: Please contact the UWOSA office at info@uwosa.ca for assistance.
- Q: I am not a Steward. Can I still pick up tickets for my department?
A: Yes, you can. Please bring a list of members in alphabetical order (by last name) to one of the ticket pick-up dates or send the list ahead of time to info@uwosa.ca for pre-verification.
- Q: I have a special dietary requirement. Can I send this to UWOSA?
A: No. All dietary requirements must be communicated directly to Great Hall Catering (great.hall.catering@uwo.ca) with the email subject line “UWOSA Luncheon” by 4:00 pm on Friday, February 9, 2024.
- Q: I am very new to UWOSA. Can I still come to the luncheon?
A: Yes, you can. Please contact the UWOSA office at info@uwosa.ca with “UWOSA Luncheon” as the subject line. Please let us know which seating you plan to attend in the body of the email.
- Q: I am on a paid leave. May I still come to the luncheon?
A: Yes, you can. Please contact the UWOSA office at info@uwosa.ca with “UWOSA Luncheon” as the subject. Please let us know which seating you plan to attend in the body of the email.
- Q: I will not be on campus during the ticket distribution. What do I do?
A: Contact the UWOSA office at info@uwosa.ca for assistance.
- Q: I have retired from Western. Can I come to the luncheon?
A: No, you cannot. The luncheon is only for current UWOSA members.
- Q: I am on secondment outside of UWOSA, can I attend the lunch?
A: No, you cannot. The luncheon is only for current UWOSA members.
- Q: Can my ticket be sent to me through intra-campus mail?
A: No, it cannot. Please contact info@uwosa.ca for assistance.
