UWOSA is pleased to announce that the Stewards Council has appointed Jennifer Heidenheim as Vice President. Jennifer will serve the remainder of this term until April 30, 2022. Jen has served as our Membership Services Officer since June 2018, and most recently was a member of our Negotiations Committee and Chair of our Strike Preparedness Committee. Prior to that, Jen was a Steward for the Faculty of Science (since 2014) and had represented UWOSA on the Joint Committee for the Employee Assistance Program.
Jen works in the Faculty of Education Research Office where she supports faculty, students and staff. She has organized the Community Speaker Series and Faculty Research Seminars. In addition, she is responsible for organizing internal research funding competitions and has helped several faculty and students manage their grant applications and awards.
Her experience, as of late, serving as an Executive Officer, organizing membership activities, increasing the frequency of member bulletins and chairing the Membership Newsletter and Social Committee, will be an asset to her new role as Vice President.
