UWOSA Office Begins Renovation on October 1, 2019
Dear Members,
After much waiting we are pleased to announce that the current UWOSA office located at 255 UCC is on the University’s schedule to be renovated, beginning Tuesday, October 1, 2019.
Thank you in advance for your understanding as we are packing up the current office contents from September 17 – 24, 2019. Our planned moving dates will be September 25 and 26, 2019 and the office will be closed to walk in traffic, but we are still reachable through our general e-mail: info@uwosa.ca.
During the renovation (October 1, 2019 to January 20, 2020, the UWOSA office will be temporarily located to room 260 UCC, beginning September 25, 2019. The UWOSA office and executive officers emails and telephone extensions remain the same.
The renovation will include a designated space for reception area, Administrative Assistant, two meeting rooms, designated space for all UWOSA Executive officers and Chairs of standing committees, and a utility room for copier and locked files.
The UWOSA office would like to acknowledge the substantial financial contribution towards this renovation made by the University to upgrade the heating and air conditioning units, window blinds, the addition of safety doors, and to move walls to make our office more accessible. This office space has remained the same design since the UCC was first built.
We also wish to thank all of our members for budgetary approval to replace the flooring and paint the walls.
