UWOSA is an independent union representing approximately 860 administrative and technical staff at the University of Western Ontario. Our members work in every area of the University in a wide variety of roles. Reminder - UWOSA Night with the London Lightning on November 15th

Just a reminder of the UWOSA Night with the London Lightning Basketball Team on Saturday, November 15, 2014.

Doors will open for UWOSA at 6:00 pm for the 7:00 pm game between the London Lighting and the PEI Storm.

Tickets: $10.00 ea (child or adult)

• 10:00 am pre-game meet and greet with the London Lightning players and watch them shoot hoops before the game (enter via Gate 3 at the southwest corner of the building).If you are interested in attending, please contact me at

• Formal Welcome and special question & answer before the game
• Same section seating for all UWOSA members
• Section highlighted during the game (camera on section for a big cheer)

You can get your tickets to UWOSA Night with the London Lightning team three ways:

Committee Vacancy - Staff Conference Advisory Committee

There is currently an opportunity for a UWOSA member to sit on Western's Staff Conference Advisory Committee.

The Staff Conference Advisory Committee contributes to the successful planning and hosting of the annual Western Staff & Leaders’ Conference.

If you are interested in being the UWOSA representative on this committee, please download and complete the Committee Appointment Request Form and send it to the UWOSA office by campus mail to: UWOSA, UCC Room 255, by email to or by fax to ext 82180. All forms must be received by Tuesday, September 23, 2014.

The Stewards Council will appoint a member to this committees at its next meeting on September 24, 2014 from 12:00 to 1:30 pm. All applicants are expected to attend this meeting (location TBD).
