Announcements, notices to check member area

Bargaining Bulletin: May 1, 2010

This is a brief bulletin to bring members up to date regarding the status of bargaining preparation. If you have any questions or comments about this Bulletin or the bargaining process, please get in touch with the Negotiations Committee Chair, UWOSA Vice President Deb Novakowski by e-mail or at extension 87574.

Bargaining Bulletin: March 18, 2010

The Negotiations Committee members have completed their work and submitted their recommendations to the Executive Committee. As previously reported, the Executive Committee will now consider these recommendations and reports. If members of the Executive Committee find other Articles in our Collective Agreement which they feel need review, these articles will also be considered at this time. The Executive will also review grievance and other activity to determine problem areas in the Collective Agreement, review legislative changes which impact the Agreement, and conduct other research to determine trends elsewhere.

Bargaining Bulletin: January 25, 2010

This is an update on what is happening with the Negotiations Committee.

First, I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who filled out and returned the survey. This information is used by the committee, and later the Team, in setting priorities. I would also like to thank the members of the Negotiations Committee as these members have been spending a lot of volunteer time doing the investigation required to provide the entire committee with a better understanding of what our members concerns are.

Bargaining Bulletin: September 28, 2009

If you have any questions or comments about the bargaining process, please get in touch with the Negotiations Committee Chair, UWOSA Vice President Deb Novakowski. Deb can be reached by email or at extension 87574.
